Florida RV SuperShow at Tampa (click to enlarge)
The Tampa RV Show is the best chance in Florida to see all the new RV models from the manufacturers for a side-by-side comparison. The weather is usually mild, which makes viewing the RVs a comfortable process. The crowds can be large, last year nearly 60,ooo people attended, but are spread out over 16 acres so it’s seldom a problem to see whatever your interests. Take advantage of 2-day pass admission price and plan on spending two full days to see all there is to offer.
This year’s theme is, “Take It Outside”. Look for models from all the manufacturers, and booths sporting accessories as well as campgrounds and resorts.
You’re welcome to bring your well-behaved dog on its leash. Just keep in mind that there will be many distractions, including food vendors, entertainment, and several educational seminars that you might like to attend. The seminar on RV Weight and Tire Safety is something everyone should attend, especially in light of the recent tire blow out on an RV carrying 14 people where two died.
